A little bit about me

My interest in counselling came about during a challenging time for me.  It helped me to realise that I was doing something that conflicted with who I am and what was important to me.  It gave me time out of my week, to concentrate on what was going on, recognising the impact it was having on me and realising that I could change what was happening.

I have a Diploma in Person Centred Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I completed my student placement as a Counsellor at Inverness College UHI.  I worked with a wide range of age groups with varying pressures in their lives, over a two-year period and I continue to work as an Associate Counsellor with Inverness College.

I currently provide counselling at Addictions Counselling Inverness alongside my Private Practice.
